How to Disable or enable SIP ALG on a Siemens Modem

SIP ALG  is a security component,it is created in the same way as a proxy policy and offers similar configuration options ,SIP ALG commonly found in a router or firewall device Such as Siemens Modems ,Many Siemens Modems  comes with SIP ALG enabled by default.you can enable or disable the application level gateways, or ALG in  Siemens Modems by using  Telnet feature on your computer
To disable SIP ALG on Siemens Modems  please follow the instructions below.
Step 1:  click on Start button--->Run to open Run program and  Type in cmd in the open bar and click OK
Step 2: Type in "telnet 192.168.1.1" (192.168.1.1 is the default IP Address of the Siemens modem router, if you have changed it, please type in the matched IP) and press Enter.
NOTE: In Win7 or Vista, the telnet command may not be enabled by default, please click on Start Button->Control Panel->Programs-> Programs And Features->Turn Windows features on or off, then check Telnet Client and hit OK to enable telnet command  .
Step 3 :In the telnet page, type in the username and password for the Siemens modem router (both are admin by default) and press Enter.
Step 4: Type "nat bindlist" into the command line and then press the "Enter"   key. A list of information on ALG's current open ports is displayed.
Step 5:   Type "nat unbind" and then press the "Enter" key. ALG is removed from the Siemens  modem.
Step 6:   Type "saveall" into the command line and press "Enter." All changes are saved.
