VoIP-SIP Security Registration hijacking by forging SIP REGISTER requests

The aim of this attack is to redirect calls to the attacker by corrupting the registration records. The attacker listens to the network to extract a REGISTER message. He can then forge a similar message to substitute his IP address with that of the target’s in the location table.
The attacker must be able to listen to the network, extract a REGISTER message, and send a forged one to the registrar.
